Sometimes no matter how much you exercise, it’s still impossible to get rid of the dimpled, lumpy skin on your thighs, stomach, and butt. Cellulite is the culprit behind those bumps, and while nearly everyone has it, it can definitely wreak havoc on your self-confidence. A good cellulite cream can help by tightening the skin to diminish the appearance of those lumps and bumps, using certain proven ingredients like caffeine and retinol to help firm the skin and stimulate blood flow. Massaging it into your skin in the right way can make a big difference, too.
That being said, we’re also human, and it kind of feels like it’s just written into our DNA at this point to become hyper-aware of even the most minuscule changes. It’s also okay to seek antidotes. For instance, just because I’ve been on the hunt recently for an effective body cream to help firm, hydrate, and rejuvenate my skin, doesn’t mean I automatically hate my cellulite or haven’t come to terms with how my body has settled or changed since college.
Body-firming creams and cellulite creams are some of the most fervently searched terms on Google and while these types of treatments won’t make bumps and lumps disappear completely, they can be a great way to make your skin look and feel as healthy as you do on the inside. Cellulite worsens as women age because, at this point, their bodies produce less estrogen (the hormone that keeps the blood vessels flowing easily). Apart from the aging factor, there are other factors that can speed up the appearance of cellulite. Some of which are dehydration, less physical activity, gaining weight and hormonal changes. read more
Everyone yearns for a smooth skin which becomes difficult to achieve when cellulite makes skin look bumpy and uneven. Cellulite mostly appears on arms, legs, hips and stomach and leaves an unattractive look on the skin. Cellulite areas start to appear on our skins when our fat cells increase in size, build up under the skin and protrude which results in a dimpled skin.
